Nurse Training and Personnel Manager

Chris joined the Lynwood team in 1996 as a part time Veterinary Nurse progressing to be one of our Head Nurses and assessor, and then to her current position. Chris holds a Pharmacy Management qualification, the Veterinary Practice Administration Certificate and a Licentiateship in Veterinary Nursing. She is currently studying towards a Management qualification. Chris maintains her interest in feline medicine and behaviour. Chris is owned by 2 cats, and is the owner of 2 terriers.

When time permits she enjoys wildlife photography and preservation, walking and gardening.

Nikki Phillips RVN A1

Group Clinical Coach

Nikki joined Lynwood Veterinary Group in December 2007 as Head Nurse at our Wareham surgery. In July 2011 she changed roles to become our student nurses’ clinical coach supporting them through the training process. She also works at the Lynwood School of Veterinary Nursing one day a week and is currently training to become an internal verifier.

On a personal level she is keen to gain greater nursing knowledge and is especially interested in radiography. Nikki loves black labradors and hopes to have one of her own one day. She currently has 2 cats and a lovebird!

Gerry Willows

Administrative Support

Gerry is a qualified veterinary nurse and left nursing after the birth of her daughter. She has been working with us since 2002 as our administrator, and ably supports our team in the smooth running of the practice. She currently owns a cat and a guinea pig and is resisting the urge to gain any more four legged friends.

Jane Sillence

Nursing Support

Jane joined the practice for her placement whilst studying an advanced certificate in Animal Care and Introduction to Veterinary Nursing. Jane supports the nursing team on a part time basis. She loves all animals large and small. Jane has 4 longhaired rescue cats. She is married with 3 children. One of her newer hobbies is scuba diving.
