Nurse Training and Personnel Manager

Chris joined the Lynwood team in 1996 as a part time Veterinary Nurse progressing to be one of our Head Nurses and assessor, and then to her current position. Chris holds a Pharmacy Management qualification, the Veterinary Practice Administration Certificate and a Licentiateship in Veterinary Nursing. She is currently studying towards a Management qualification. Chris maintains her interest in feline medicine and behaviour. Chris is owned by 2 cats, and is the owner of 2 terriers.

When time permits she enjoys wildlife photography and preservation, walking and gardening.

Samantha Potts

Group Financial Manager

Sam joined Lynwood in 2002 as administrative support and has progressed taking up her current position in 2007. She has responsibilities for financial management across the group of practices.

Nikki Phillips RVN A1

Group Clinical Coach

Nikki joined Lynwood Veterinary Group in December 2007 as Head Nurse at our Wareham surgery. In July 2011 she changed roles to become our student nurses’ clinical coach supporting them through the training process. She also works at the Lynwood School of Veterinary Nursing one day a week and is currently training to become an internal verifier.

On a personal level she is keen to gain greater nursing knowledge and is especially interested in radiography. Nikki loves black labradors and hopes to have one of her own one day. She currently has 2 cats and a lovebird!

Katie Stanyon

Katie started working at the practice as a kennel assistant in February 2012. She plans to start the Veterinary Nurse training at some point in the near future.

When not at work she enjoys singing and playing the piano, cello and guitar. She admits to an unhealthy obsession with David Attenborough documentaries and spends hours walking her crazy "Sprollie" (Springer Spaniel cross Border Collie) Poppy.
