Frances Hunter BVM&S MRCVS - Veterinary Surgeon

I qualified from Edinburgh in 1984. I worked for a brief spell in Whitstable, then moved to Gateshead. I married Alan in May 1986 and we moved down to Dorset that summer, where I started locum work at all the branches of Lynwood Veterinary Group. I enjoyed it so much that I have been here ever since. I work at the Verwood branch of Lynwood, going over to Wimborne daily with my surgical cases.

Alan and I have two children, Allice and Jack, plus two dogs, Flora and Millie, and three cats - Rosie, Tiger and Ruby. We all live in a little village called Edmondsham. My two great loves (apart from family) are gardening and cooking.

Tracy Upshall - Veterinary Nurse

I first joined Lynwood in 1992 as a trainee nurse, duly qualifying in 1995, and have been with the practice ever since! I have been based here at Verwood since we opened our newest branch in 2002 and you may spot me in our animal ambulance each morning and evening...

I live at Wimborne with my partner, Peter, and a multitude of animals. Between us we have amassed 2 horses, 7 dogs, 2 cats, and a rabbit - amzingly, “killer bunny” is the only one that I have re-homed from the surgery. My hobbies obviously include walking the dogs and riding; collapsing on the sofa with a good book is also a favourite!

Sue Kennell - Receptionist

I joined the Verwood practice in September 2002, Previously I was the homing officer for Waggy Tails Rescue, which involved finding the most suitable home for each rescued animal. I also fostered nearly 300 dogs during my 5 years with the charity, only keeping 9 of the very elderly, unwell or disabled dogs that no-one wanted. I live in Poole with my husband Paul, 3 children, 4 dogs and 2 birds. My hobbies are needlework, crafts, quizzes and crosswords.
