Elyse joined Lynwood as a locum RVN in December 2016 and decided that she liked the team so much; she successfully applied for a permanent position.
Elyse has over 20 years’ experience in the veterinary profession, starting her training as a Veterinary Nurse in Essex at the age of 16. She had worked overseas in Bermuda for several years and upon her return to the UK, she decided to relocate to Dorset as she missed the beautiful beaches too much!
Else has worked in a number of varied roles during her career so far, including charity clinics, specialist hospitals and hydrotherapy/rehabilitation services. She has recently developed an interest in the client care aspect of the profession and her new role at Lynwood incorporates customer service as part of the reception team. Elyse gained further qualification in canine rehabilitation from the University of Tennessee in 2009 and still holds big interest in this area.
She has recently moved from the busy town of Bournemouth to an idyllic country cottage in rural Dorset with her partner James and their furry family of 2 Lurchers-Freya & Martha, their ginger cat-Wilba and a gang of 5 guinea pigs. They are all looking forward to enjoying the space and fresh air of village life.
