Administrative Assistant - Wimborne Branch

We are seeking for an enthusiastic responsible Administrative Assistant to perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks. Duties of the Administrative Assistant include providing support to our managers and employees, assisting in daily office needs and managing our company’s general administrative activities.

You will need to be adaptable, able to learn quickly and pick up tasks as well as being organised and able to multitask.

Responsibilities

  • Manage phone calls and correspondence (e-mail, letters etc.);
  • Passion for continual learning and improvement;
  • Sorting incoming and outgoing daily post and answering any queries;
  • Answer and direct phone calls;
  • Develop and maintain a filing system;
  • Book travel arrangements/CPD;
  • Organise/order stationary for the team;
  • Assist with the finance team and support with banking & debt control;
  • Providing administrative support;
  • Cover shifts on reception and provide support as required;
  • Manage and monitor reminder system;
  • Monitoring our Facebook page/website/TV adverts;
  • Monitoring our health care plan.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an administrative assistant;
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise work;
  • Attention to detail and problem solving skills;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task;
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.

Head RVN - Wimborne branch

Independent practice in Dorset is looking for a Head RVN to join their team.

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced RVN to join our practice in Dorset and lead the nursing team.

We are an RCVS accredited practice, with a large experienced, friendly & supportive team. This constantly growing practice has invested heavily in our team & facilities over the last couple of years and will continue to grow in the future, so you will be safe in the knowledge that you are joining a modern, well equipped practice. The benefits of being an independently-owned practice mean that there is very much a team ethos and the development and support of individuals within the team is very important to us.

Our facilities and team experience mean that we can work up our medicine & surgical cases to a high standard, giving a strong sense of clinical satisfaction.

We are also a nurse training practice, with our team of RVNs involved in Clinical Coaching our student nurses.

Ability to think on your feet when required!

Ideally, previous team leadership experience
