About us:
Lynwood Vets is a 5 branch, small animal, RCVS accredited group based on the South Coast. All branches work closely together, with frequent opportunities to get together both socially and professionally.
We boast excellent facilities and an experienced team, where everyone is a valued member of the Lynwood family and has their own unique role to play.
Our hospital site in Wimborne hosts Vets Now so in-house OOH care is provided for our patients. Our Bournemouth branch is home to Petfit, giving us the ability to offer in house hydrotherapy and physiotherapy services to both internal and external clients.
Lynwood Vets are an accredited Veterinary Nurse training practice with Student Veterinary Nurses work alongside our qualified team and also attending the Lynwood School of Veterinary Nursing.
The Role:
- Salary – from £27,500 depending on experience (contracted hours 41.25 per week)
- Permanent position
- Full-time – Mon – Fri plus Sat rota 1:4 (5 hr shift)
- Shifts between 8am and 7pm Mon – Fri. Sat 8am – 1pm
- No OOH or bank hols
We are open to applications from RVNs with all levels of experience. We’re looking for a real team player who is as passionate about patient care as we are and is keen to develop both their own clinical skills and those of others.
The role incorporates the standard RVN duties including working in theatre, inpatient care, nurse consults, developing client relationships and assisting other colleagues where needed.
It offers mentoring and training with the option to complete certificates. You will also have the opportunity to gain experience in specific areas of interest. Your career satisfaction is important to us, and we place great emphasis on developing out team.
With our mix of urban and rural clients, there’s a wide variety of cases and opportunities to develop your skills.
