DUNCAN
Clinical Director
MA VetMB CertSAM MRCVSDuncan is following in the footsteps of his great, great grandfather, also a vet, and still has his walking stick and old equipment. He grew up surrounded by horses, and worked in dog rescue centres and on farms before qualifying as a vet in 1998. He joined the team in 2004, attained his certificate in small animal medicine in 2008 and became a partner in 2010. Outside of work he plays a strange variety of musical instruments and is a modestly gifted tenor – as well as the enthusiastic founder of Fordingbridge Astronomers!
REBECCA
Practice Director
MRCVS VetMBRebecca grew up in the South Downs where she developed her love for animals and science. She qualified from Cambridge in 1999 and initially worked with farm animals as well as pets in Yorkshire, before deciding to focus on pets, joining Lynwood in 2016. Outside of work, Rebecca has a son who has got her into exploring the local areas by bike, and she loves playing her saxophone in local bands.
JANINE

BVetMed (Hons) MRCVSJanine first joined Lynwood in 2000 as a student veterinary nurse. She returned in 2006 as a vet after qualifying from the Royal Veterinary College. When not at work she enjoys walking her dogs, yoga, and Terry Pratchett’s sense of humour.
LUISA
Senior Veterinary Surgeon
BVetMed MRCVS - Bournemouth Branch LeadLuisa graduated from the Royal Veterinary College in 2006 and has been working at Lynwood since 2015. She is the proud owner of a fox red Labrador, Sid, an Abyssinian cat, Dotty and two monkeys – otherwise known as her sons! Outside work she is kept busy running around after her boys and enjoying all that seaside and New Forest living has to offer.
REBECCA
Senior Veterinary Surgeon
MA VetMB MRCVS - Verwood Branch LeadBecky graduated from Cambridge University Vet School in 2008 and joined the team in 2014. In between she worked in first opinion practice, developing an interest in pain management and training in veterinary acupuncture. She is our resident cat fanatic, working closely with the local Cats Protection, and enjoying the company of her own two little friends, Mr Tom and Lola. She loves water sports and travelling, and her dream is to sail around the world – with a boat cat for company!

ANNA A
Veterinary Surgeon
BSc BVetMed MRCVSAnna qualified from The Royal Veterinary College, London, in 2013. Prior to studying veterinary medicine, she graduated from The University of Reading with a bachelor’s degree in Animal Science. Before joining Lynwood, Anna worked solely in small animal practice. She has vested interests in canine and feline dentistry and dermatology. She also has a passion for exotic animal medicine and surgery. Outside of work, she can be found doing endless laps in the pool, gardening, hiking miles with her miniature dachshund, Obi, being squished under three siamese cats- or indulging in cooking, yarn craft or illustration.

Veterinary Surgeon
BSc MA VetMB PG Dip CABC MRCVSAnna qualified from Cambridge University in 1998 having previously obtained a degree in Psychology from Loughborough University. She joined the Lynwood team in 2009, having previously worked in Norfolk. She is passionate about End-of-Life Care and provides practical and emotional support to clients and colleagues drawing on her experience and knowledge from her degrees and postgraduate diploma in animal behaviour counselling. In her spare time she enjoys running, cycling and when she can, skiing and also does pottery classes.

Veterinary Surgeon
BSc BVSc MRCVSBeth undertook a degree in zoology at Liverpool University before graduating as a vet from the University of Bristol in 2017. On completion of her degree, she decided to move back to her home county and joined the Lynwood team. In her spare time, she enjoys horse riding, surfing and cuddle time with her cat, Furlough.

Veterinary Surgeon
BVetMed MRCVSElin graduated from the RVC in 2000 and enjoyed four years in mixed practice before concentrating on small animals. She gained a general practitioner’s certificate in small animal medicine in 2006 and joined the Lynwood team in 2008. Her interests include walking, wildlife, travelling and pandering to her cat and dog.

BVSc BSc MANZCVS (Small Animal Medicine) MRCVSEmily graduated from the University of Liverpool in 2004 after completing degrees in veterinary science and pharmacology, and also obtained her certificate in small animal medicine in 2009. She particularly enjoys ultrasound scanning and oncology. She enjoys water sports in the Dorset summers, especially windsurfing, as well as Pottering – of the clay, garden and Harry varieties! At home she has Pudding the cat and Willow the dog.

BVSc MRCVS - Purbeck Clinical LeadJo moved back to her hometown of Poole in 2019, after spending several years working in the Midlands, as well as a year travelling around Australia. She enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine but has a particular interest in surgery. She has a cat, and in her spare time enjoys water sports – when the weather allows!

BVSc MRCVSKathryn qualified from Bristol University in 2003 and began work in mixed practice in Cornwall, before joining the team in 2007. She then spent two years in small animal practice in Buckinghamshire and as a locum on the South Coast, returning to us in 2011. Outside work she is kept busy by her two children and a Labrador, and enjoys horse riding and walking.

Veterinary Surgeon
DRS MRCVSMartine qualified in 1989 from the University of Utrecht in The Netherlands. She is married with two children, and has a cat called Bella, who was rescued via the RSPCA. Her hobbies include walking, cycling, singing, Zumba, tropical gardening and trying to live in a more sustainable way.

CARRIE
Group Head Nurse & Nursing Manager
RVNCarrie joined Lynwood in 2018, having worked at nearby Burrows for 17 years.
As chief flag waver and promoter of all things Veterinary Nurse, Carrie has fewer opportunities to enjoy time in theatre which was always a passion and highlight in her career. However, she will always find time for clients and colleagues alike to discuss and share her experience and knowledge of raw feeding, appropriate neutering and breeding/welfare regulations. She is a self-confessed mad dog lady having six of her own at home who she loves to explore the countryside with. When not covered in mud and dog hair Carrie can be found socialising with friends, enjoying small batch artisan gins and planning her next trip to see the world!SARRA
Wareham & Swanage Branch Lead
RVNSarra qualified as an RVN in 2009 and joined us at Lynwood in 2016 . Outside of work, she runs her own pet care business, and is also a qualified dog groomer. She has always been animal mad and owns an ex-racehorse called Shuil Royale and three dogs: Hughie, Ralph and Looby, plus some chickens and a snake! In her spare time, she likes to walk, travel, socialise with friends, horse ride and clay shoot.

RVN - Head Nurse Wimborne & VerwoodAlice qualified as a registered veterinary nurse in 2015 after training at a veterinary hospital in the New Forest and at our Bournemouth branch. She particularly enjoys nursing our inpatients and giving them the extra love they need. Her and her husband’s four-legged family members include five dogs and a few chickens! Alice has a real weakness for Spaniels and spends her spare time training her own Springers.

Registered Veterinary Nurse
RVN - Head Nurse Bournemouth & EnsburySteph joined Lynwood in 2016, and qualified as an RVN in 2020. Her favourite part of the job is placing IV catheters and taking bloods, she also enjoys consulting. She keeps ducks and chickens and home and has a springer spaniel called Odin who she enjoys walking and training.

Registered Veterinary Nurse
RVNAmy qualified with a degree in veterinary nursing and practice administration from Bristol University in 2010. She thoroughly enjoys theatre nursing and patient care, as well as completing nurse appointments. Outside of work she enjoys exploring the local area with her border terrier Basil, baking sweet treats and gardening.

Registered Veterinary Nurse
RVN BScBeth started working at Lynwood in January 2022 when she qualified and also has a Bachelor of Science degree in Ecology and Wildlife Conservation. Beth's clinical special interests are looking after inpatients and behaviour, and she is a Fear Free certified professional so is passionate about reducing fear and stress before, during and after a vet visit. Beth has two pets, a rescue dog called Maggie and a cat called Pudding!

Registered Veterinary Nurse
RVNClaire joined the team in 2015 and has a keen interest in rehab, elderly patients and orthopaedic surgery. In her spare time she loves to travel and explore different places with her husband and their two spaniels in their van. She also enjoys cycling, running, walking and has retired from playing rugby, including in the Premiership. She often raises money for charity, including cycling over eight days from Kilimanjaro to Rift River Valley in 2016 for The British Heart Foundation.

RVN Cert CFVHNutClaire has worked for Lynwood since 2011, previously working at practices in Bournemouth and Poole. She enjoys the varied nature of veterinary nursing and has completed a level four certificate in canine and feline nutrition. At home she has a miniature bull terrier and two young children. Outside of work she enjoys dog walking and living in the beautiful Isle of Purbeck.

RVNDebbie has worked for Lynwood since the 1990s, originally at our Bournemouth branch, then onto Wimborne, where she qualified. After having children, she joined the Purbeck team part-time and is now found working between the Wareham and Swanage branches. Debbie has two crazy Staffies and a cat who thinks he is human. She loves to fill her spare time, walking, cycling and being outdoors.

Registered Veterinary Nurse
LLB RVN ISFM Dip FNDemi joined Lynwood in 2018 after completing a law degree at university. She enjoys dining out, the cinema, crafting and spending time with family and friends. Her hobbies include clay pigeon shooting, baking and playing video games. In 2024 she completed the ISFM diploma in feline nursing and is passionate about all things cat.

RVNEmily joined Lynwood in 2017 as a kennel assistant and is working towards becoming an RVN. She has always loved animals and making their lives as exciting and healthy as possible. In her spare time, she likes to rock climb, mountain bike and be outside with her springer spaniel, Daisy, and pony, Whiz.
ERIN
Registered Veterinary Nurse
RVNErin has been nursing since 2009 and proudly qualified as an RVN in 2017. She has always had a passion for animals and has a particularly strong interest in hand-rearing, critical care and emergencies. She is the owner of a husky Labrador cross called Chester and a mischievous black cat called Jango-fett. Outside work she is kept very busy with her two young daughters, and loves spending time with her family and going for woodland walks.
GISELA
Registered Veterinary Nurse
RVNGisela joined Lynwood in 2016. I studied as a RVN at the Royal college London and passed in 1999 and moved back to Dorset where she now lives with her husband and two sons. She has a keen interest in pet nutrition and enjoys meeting our clients and their pets during nurse clinics. Outside of work, Gisela enjoys walks and geo-caching with her family, playing tennis and jogging - she regularly takes part in park runs!
IVA
Registered Veterinary Nurse
RVNIva moved to the UK from Brazil and started working at Lynwood in 2018, initially as a student veterinary nurse, before completing her Veterinary Nursing Diploma and becoming a registered veterinary nurse. She loves animals, especially dogs and cats, and bred boxers and miniature pinschers in her home country. She also has NVQ Diploma level 3 in hospitality supervision and leadership, and an animal psychology diploma.
JAZMIN
Registered Veterinary Nurse
RVNJazmin qualified as an RVN in 2017 and then went on to referral nursing (Wards nurse) in 2019 for 2 years before going on maternity leave in 2021. She joined Lynwood in 2022. Jazmin has a Cocker Spaniel called Hector and a rescued Pug cross called Ruby. She love to go on beach walks, travelling and adventures with her little family.

BSc (Hons) VPAC RVNLaura graduated from Harper Adams University in 2018, then worked in a small animal and equine practice before joining Lynwood in 2019. She likes playing cricket, tending to her allotment, crafts, and baking. She has two cats but also loves dogs and hopes to have her own one day.

RVNLeanne joined the team in 2016, having qualified as an RVN in 2006 at a small animal practice in the New Forest. She has worked in many roles such as senior nurse, clinical coach, and clinic nurse in practices in Ringwood and Poole. She especially enjoys preventative healthcare and nurse consultations. She lives with her partner Steve, her adorable son and daughter and her very excitable Jack Russell terrier, Minnie.

RVNLucy joined the Lynwood team in 2011. She enjoys all aspects of being a Veterinary Nurse & finds it very rewarding. She particularly enjoys mentoring student RVN's, helping them to achieve their goals.

RVN BScNatasha started working at Lynwood in May 2022 after studying with Lynwood College of Veterinary Nursing. Prior to this she completed a BSc degree in Animal Behaviour and Welfare. At home she has two chihuahuas, a rescue cat and two guinea pigs and enjoys going on day's out in the forest or at the beach with her dogs. At work her main interests include medicine cases, laboratory work, wildlife and exotics!
OLIVIA
Registered Veterinary Nurse
RVNOlivia qualified as an RVN in 2020 after studying at Sparsholt College and completing her work placement at our Wimborne branch. She has a particular interest in canine behaviour and hydrotherapy. At home she has had many pets including rats, hamsters, fish, cats, and dogs, and currently lives with her three crazy, excitable dogs Poppy, Daisy, and Willow. In her spare time she can be found playing video games, training her dogs, watching movies and exploring Dorset.
ROSEY
Registered Veterinary Nurse
RVNJoined the Lynwood team in January 2023 after qualifying as a Veterinary Nurse at Sparsholt College, Winchester in 2022. She has a particular fondness for cats and has a very spoilt tabby cat at home. Rosey's area of interest is in the Laboratory assisting our medicine Vets, having previously worked as a Medical Laboratory Assistant in the NHS for 6 years. She hopes to do more work with charities in the future both locally and abroad. She has always been a great lover of animals and is very proud to have made working with them her career.

Registered Veterinary Nurse
RVNSam has been qualified as a Registered Veterinary Nurse for 10 years and joined the team at Lynwood at the beginning of 2022. Prior to joining the Lynwood team she worked at a local Veterinary Hospital for 13 years. Sam is currently part time and has 2 small children, a Labrador called Wilf, 2 cats called Dennis and Milton and 3 chickens at home to keep her busy!

Student Veterinary Nurse
Ellie joined Lynwood Vets in 2022, having previously been a part of the team at our Ensbury branch. She has worked in the Veterinary industry since 2015 and absolutely loves it! At home, Ellie has 2 dogs, 2 cats and 2 kids to keep her busy, and loves all things Harry Potter or animal related! In April 2023, Ellie started her nurse training at Lynwood School of Veterinary Nursing and is based at our Wimborne Branch.

Izzy has been working in the Veterinary Industry since 2020. Izzy started her career as a kennel assistant at a local practice before furthering her career as a student veterinary nurse at Lynwood. In her spare time she loves to spend time with her Huntaway. Izzy is also very passionate about horses and cows and spends any extra time she has out in the countryside.

Jo has worked within the veterinary world since 2016, first as a receptionist and kennel staff and is now working towards her Diploma in Veterinary Nursing. She is a busy mum of three and has a lovely Labrador and special Springer Spaniel to practice on at home as well as three cats and a rabbit! In her spare time she enjoys walks with the dogs and spending time with friends.

Katie joined Lynwood in 2018 and qualified as an RVN in April 2024, enjoying all aspects of her RVN role. In her spare time she loves spending time with all her animals. Her passion is her horses, and she enjoys any spare minute she has out and about in the saddle or walking her three dogs in the Purbecks. She is known as the “crazy giraffe lady” as they are her favourite animal, and anything that includes a giraffe is a must have!

RVNSarah joined Lynwood in 2019 as an animal care assistant before beginning her training as a Student Veterinary Nurse. She qualified as an RVN in October 2023! She has a dog and cat at home and loves anything furry!
CHARLOTTE
Practice Manager
Charlotte originally joined the Lynwood team back in 2011 and was a member of the reception team for 6 years before moving out of the area to begin a career in Practice Management. After returning to the area and starting a family, she re joined us in February 2022 in the new role of Client Care Manager, and in October 2023, she became Practice Manager for the group.
Charlotte lives locally with her husband, son and cat Nala and enjoys travelling, eating out and reading (when family life allows!)
SALLY

AVR (Accredited Veterinary Receptionists )Sally joined Lynwood in 2017, having previously spent over 20 years in front of house positions. When not at work, she loves to spend time with her two dogs, especially taking them on long walks. We are very proud to announce that Sally has also completed her gold accreditation with the BVRA (British Veterinary Receptionist Association) and is now a Registered Veterinary Receptionist. Well done Sally!

In her spare time, she enjoys spending time at her local gym and is often seen red-faced, running on the treadmill. Gail joined the Lynwood team in May 2022, having previously run her own dog walking business as well as being a children's foster carer. She has three dogs, one cat and two teenagers (oh and a husband!). Gail enjoys walking her dogs and taking them with her whenever she can, as well as cooking and keeping fit.

Joan has been a Wimborne girl all her life and has been a client at Lynwood for over 50 years. She joined the team in 2020 – a week before the start of lockdown! – and loves working with people and animals. In her spare time, she enjoys going for walks, seeing friends, cooking, and gardening. She has a rescue cat called Charlie, tropical fish and a flash crested gecko called Gordon.
JOANNE
Senior Receptionist
Joanne has worked for a number of years as a veterinary receptionist and loves nothing more than supporting and helping clients, their pets and her colleagues. She has also worked for an animal charity and fostered cats for a local cat rescue. She is a member of International Cat Care and in 2019 she successfully completed their cat friendly receptionist course. When not at work, or caring for her Mum who has Dementia, she enjoys yoga, aromatherapy, sea swimming, and being outdoors.

Lucy joined the Lynwood client care team in July 2022. She has a cat named Cellough (Cel for short). Lucy loves music, sewing and knitting, and family walks in the beautiful Purbeck countryside.

Senior Receptionist
AVR (Accredited Veterinary Receptionists )Niamh joined the team in December 2019, after spending four years with Burrows Vets, which she adored! She has two dogs named Doris & Ned who she shares with her partner. When not working, Niamh enjoys singing along to musical theatre songs, going to the cinema, and travelling. In 2022, Niamh completed her gold accreditation with the BVRA (British Veterinary Receptionist Association) and is now a Accredited Veterinary Receptionist. Well done Niamh!

Before joining Lynwood, Ruth worked in a range of other roles, including in the veterinary industry, and also enjoyed volunteering at a rabbit rescue. She has previously kept her own rescued house rabbits and has a particular interest in rabbit welfare. When not at work, she enjoys sea swimming, surfing, yoga, and art.

Tracy joined the practice in 2020 and loves to welcome all clients & their pets when they arrive. At home, life is busy with her 3 Working Cocker Spaniels & her horse Megan.

Animal Care Assistant
Lead ACACharlotte joined the team in 2020 as a member of our Client Care team, and has only seen her love for animals grow since. She joined the ACA team the following year and was promoted to Lead ACA in 2022. Outside of work, Charlotte enjoys long walks in the countryside and obedience training with her 3 year old Pomsky, Nellie.
ALISHA
Animal Care Assistant
Alisha joined the Lynwood Client Care team at our Ensbury branch in October 2022 with a huge passion for animals. She is a proud parent of Loki her crazy greyhound with bundles of energy and Alfie her RSPCA rescue cat. Alisha has always grown up with various animals and has worked with animals since leaving collage, enjoying every moment! In May 2023, she moved across to the ACA team over at Wimborne to pursue her interest in nursing and animal care. In her spare time Alisha enjoys spending time with friends and family, walks with Loki and the gym.

Animal Care Assistant
Lauren had been working in veterinary care for over a year before joining Lynwood in April 2022. She loves all types of animals and has been lucky enough to see lots of wildlife in their natural habits while on her travels around the world. Lauren has one dog called Teddy. In her free time, she likes to travel, read books and play with her dog.
MARIA
Animal Care Assistant
Originally from Brazil, Maria joined our Bournemouth Branch in June 2022 as part of the Client Care team. In May 2023, she moved across to join the ACA team, supporting the nurses at Bournemouth. Maria says she really enjoys her job, being surrounded by animals, and providing good client service. Maria has a young son and a very energetic Jack Russell which demands lots of walking and fetching the ball to get him tired. She loves taking both for walks at the beach and spending time with her friends and family.
CHARLOTTE C
Animal Care Assistant
Charlotte has always had a passion for animals and has worked caring for them for many years, including as a kennel assistant and self-employed dog walker, as well as completing psychology courses on the canine brain and behaviour. She enjoys painting, music – especially Elvis! – and having adventures with her little family.
TRACY
Operations Support Manager
RVNTracy has been with Lynwood since 1992, having started as a Student Nurse. She qualified as an RVN in 1995 and has been with Lynwood ever since, moving between a range of roles as her career has progressed, and is now our Operations Manager. Having had horses, dogs & cats from a very young age, Tracy now has a Springer Spaniel and a Labrador, along with a couple of cats who have decided to adopt her and move in!

Development Manager
After many years working in finance an insurance, Emma joined Lynwood in 2019 to cover maternity leave and was lucky enough to be asked to stay! She has a lovely cockerpoo who is very spoilt! Emma enjoys taking her for a walks at the beach with the rest of the family.
GERRY
Office Manager
Gerry is a qualified veterinary nurse and has been working with us since 2002, supporting our team in the smooth running of the practice. She has an elderly cat, Charlie, who is quite a character and can be a little demanding at times. She enjoys pet sitting for friends and colleagues, sometimes to the annoyance of Charlie! When not at work she is often found gardening and likes spending time outdoors.

Kaylee joined Lynwood in 2013 as administrative support and progressed to office manager in 2015. She has always been an animal lover. She enjoys working alongside a caring and dedicated team and is proud to call Lynwood her work family. In her spare time, her happy place is being out and about exploring beautiful Dorset with her husband and little girl. She also enjoys swimming, gym classes and horse riding.

Laura joined the Lynwood admin team in January 2020. She has always loved animals and is a very proud cat mum to Leia. She enjoys spending time with friends and her husband playing Dungeons and Dragons and is also currently studying at University.
